Day 1: Airport to Arusha
Arrival & Transfer to Arusha
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional safari guide and transferred to your accommodation in Arusha. Enjoy a comfortable journey of approximately one hour as you take in the scenic surroundings.
Once at your lodge, you will have time to relax, settle in, and prepare for the exciting safari adventure that awaits.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park
Your safari adventure begins with an early morning departure from your accommodation in Arusha at around 8:00 am. After a short briefing from your professional guide, you will set off toward Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most scenic and wildlife-rich destinations.
Located south of Lake Manyara, Tarangire is renowned for its vast savannah landscapes, iconic baobab trees, and the life-giving Tarangire River — a vital water source that attracts large concentrations of wildlife throughout the year.
The park is especially famous for hosting Tanzania’s largest elephant herds, often seen gathering along the riverbanks. You may also encounter zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, and a variety of antelope species. During the dry season, predators such as lions and leopards are more frequently spotted, making for an exciting game-viewing experience.
Enjoy a scenic picnic lunch at a carefully selected site overlooking the Tarangire River, where you can relax while surrounded by the sights and sounds of the African wilderness.
In the afternoon, continue with an extended game drive before returning to your accommodation for dinner and overnight, reflecting on a truly memorable first day on safari.
Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, depart from your accommodation in Arusha at around 8:00 AM, following a short briefing from your professional safari guide. You will then journey toward Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most remarkable wildlife destinations.
Situated south of Lake Manyara, Tarangire is named after the Tarangire River — the park’s primary water source and a magnet for wildlife, especially during the dry season. The park is renowned for its impressive concentration of animals, including Tanzania’s largest elephant herds, as well as zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, and a variety of predators.
The landscape is equally captivating, dotted with ancient baobab trees that create a unique and photogenic backdrop throughout your safari experience.
Enjoy a relaxing picnic lunch at a scenic viewpoint overlooking the Tarangire River, where you can take in the beauty of the surrounding wilderness.
In the afternoon, continue with an exciting game drive, exploring different areas of the park before returning to your accommodation for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.
Day 4: Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha
- Your full-day game drive begins early in the morning at Lake Manyara National Park, located southwest of Arusha.
- Although relatively small in size, the park is a rich ecological haven, known for its diverse vegetation, including acacia woodlands, giant fig trees, and over 670 species of flowering plants and ferns.
- The park is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, hippos, cheetahs, and the famous tree-climbing lions. It also hosts more than 350 bird species, with large flocks of flamingos commonly seen along the lake during the wet season.
- Enjoy a picnic lunch within the park before continuing your game drive and exploration.
- In the late afternoon, return to Arusha for relaxation and an overnight stay.
