Day 1: Arrival and Arusha City Tour
Upon arrival at the airport, you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to your lodge in Arusha. After your journey, take time to relax and settle in. You will then meet your guide for a safari briefing and preparation for the upcoming adventure. Enjoy a peaceful overnight stay before starting your Serengeti Great Migration safari.
Day 2: Tarangire National Park
- Depart from Arusha at 8:00 AM and drive approximately 120 km (about 2 hours) to Tarangire National Park. Upon arrival, take a short break while entry procedures are completed.
- Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives with a picnic lunch included. The park is home to diverse wildlife such as elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, cheetahs, gazelles, antelopes, and a variety of bird species.
Day 3: Serengeti National Park
- After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park, traveling through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy scenic views of the Ngorongoro Crater along the way before arriving at the park.
- Serengeti National Park is one of Africa’s most renowned safari destinations, famous for the Great Wildebeest Migration, vast plains, and diverse wildlife, including lions, leopards, and cheetahs.
Day 4: The Great Wildebeest Migration
- After breakfast, depart for a full-day game drive in Serengeti National Park, heading north toward the Mara River in search of the Great Migration.
- Witness one of nature’s most remarkable events as wildebeest, accompanied by zebras and gazelles, move across the plains and, when conditions allow, cross the river.
- In the evening, return to camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Northern - Central Serengeti National Park
- After breakfast, depart for a full-day game drive in Serengeti National Park, heading north toward the Mara River in search of the Great Migration.
- Look out for diverse wildlife as you travel, with opportunities to witness wildebeest crossings depending on timing and conditions.
- In the evening, return to camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater
- After breakfast, depart for a full-day game drive in Serengeti National Park, heading north toward the Mara River in search of the Great Migration.
- Enjoy diverse wildlife sightings throughout the day, with opportunities to witness wildebeest crossings depending on timing and conditions.
- In the evening, return to camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 7: Materuni Waterfalls and Coffee Tour
- Start with a guided hike through Materuni Village to a scenic waterfall over 150 meters high.
- After the hike, visit local coffee plantations to learn about coffee cultivation, processing, and preparation, with an opportunity to taste freshly brewed coffee.
- Interact with the local community and gain insight into their culture and daily life, guided by experienced and welcoming hosts.
