Day 1: Zanzibar – Arusha – Tarangire National Park – Karatu
Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Zanzibar, followed by a transfer to Abeid Amani Karume International Airport for your domestic flight to Arusha (approximately 1 hour 10 minutes).
Upon arrival at Arusha Airport, you will meet your professional safari guide and enjoy a short stop at a nearby café or supermarket for coffee and relaxation before starting your adventure.
At around 10:30 AM, depart for Tarangire National Park, renowned for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and diverse wildlife.
During your full-day game drive, you may encounter:
- Elephants (very common)
- Lions
- Leopards
- Buffalo
- Giraffes
- Zebras
- Wildebeest
- A wide variety of bird species
Tarangire offers an excellent فرصة to spot up to four members of the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, and buffalo. The black rhino is rarely seen here but can often be found in the Ngorongoro Crater.
After your game drive, which continues until approximately 6:00 PM, exit the park and transfer to Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay at your lodge.
Day 2: Karatu – Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha Airport
- After an early breakfast, depart for the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most spectacular wildlife destinations.
- Descend into the crater for a game drive lasting approximately 3–4 hours. This unique ecosystem is one of the best places in Africa to spot the endangered black rhino.
- Wildlife commonly seen includes:
- Black rhinos
- Lions
- Elephants
- Buffalo
- Zebras
- Hippos
- Hyenas
- Wildebeest
- Enjoy a short break inside the crater for coffee, photography, and a picnic lunch surrounded by breathtaking scenery.
- After the safari, drive back to Arusha Airport for your onward flight or travel arrangements.
