Day 1: Zanzibar → Arusha → Tarangire National Park → Karatu
- Pick-up from your hotel in Kendwa, Nungwi, or Paje and transfer to Abeid Amani Karume International Airport.
- Take a domestic flight (approximately 1 hour 10 minutes) to Arusha.
- Upon arrival, meet your professional safari guide (English or Russian speaking). After a short refreshment stop in Arusha, continue your journey to Tarangire National Park.
- Enjoy a full-day game drive through the park, known for its large elephant herds and iconic landscapes.
- Picnic lunch will be served inside the park.
- Spot a variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, giraffes, and more.
- In the late afternoon, drive to Karatu for an overnight stay at Kankari Lodge or a similar lodge near the Ngorongoro gate.
Day 2: Karatu → Ngorongoro Crater → Arusha
- Enjoy an early morning breakfast before departing for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
- Descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable game drive:
- One of the best places in Africa to see the Big Five
- High chance of spotting the rare black rhino
- Stunning landscapes with a dense concentration of wildlife
- Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater, surrounded by breathtaking scenery.
- In the afternoon, drive back to Arusha (approximately 3 hours).
- Overnight stay in Arusha at Green Inside Hotel or a similar property.
Day 3: Arusha City Tour → Zanzibar
- After breakfast, enjoy time exploring Arusha at your own pace.
- Visit local markets and shops, perfect for purchasing souvenirs and experiencing the local culture.
- After lunch (not included), transfer to the airport for your return flight to Zanzibar.
